Jet2 Adds Five UK Airports to Tunisia from May 2027
Jet2, the UK’s third-largest airline and largest package holiday operator, announced on 18 June 2026 that it will launch flights and holidays to Tunisia for Summer 2027. The move significantly expands British access to the destination, which this year became the top source market for international visitor arrivals in Tunisia.
Flights will operate to Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport from five UK bases: Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted and Manchester. Services begin on 1 May 2027 and run through to 31 October 2027. Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester will receive twice-weekly services; East Midlands and Leeds Bradford will operate weekly Saturday departures.
Hammamet is one of Tunisia’s most established seaside resorts and sits approximately 45 minutes from Enfidha airport. The coast road south from Hammamet also reaches Djerba via a longer transfer, making Enfidha a practical entry point for several of the country’s northern and eastern beach destinations.
We see this as a strong signal that Tunisia’s tourism sector is winning back confidence among mainstream British holiday operators. Jet2’s network decisions carry weight — the airline typically commits to a new destination only when forward demand is clear and repeat-visit potential is strong. The announcement follows a year in which the UK displaced Russia and France as Tunisia’s number-one source market.
For travellers planning a trip in the meantime, existing routes already connect multiple UK airports to Tunis and Djerba via carriers including easyJet and Tunisair.
